The JAECOO 5 HEV combines a 1.5-litre TGDI petrol engine with electric drive and a DHT hybrid transmission, with energy recovered while driving to recharge the 1.83 kWh battery. No plug or charging cable is needed. Inside, a spacious five-seat cabin, 13.2-inch touchscreen and available 540° surround-view camera bring technology and practicality together for any type of driving.

A high-strength body structure forms the foundation of the safety concept, reinforced by seven airbags and 20 driver-assistance functions. Emergency braking with pedestrian and cyclist detection, adaptive cruise control, lane and blind-spot assistance, rear cross-traffic braking and multi-collision braking help support the driver and reduce risk in changing traffic situations.
